Yes those are the metal let...You have a sharp eye! Yes those are the metal letters from Piquet! I've used those for so many different purposes. In this game they are used to mark a unit that is in "Maneuvering Mode". Otherwise, units are assumed to be in deployed mode.<br /><br />Yes it is a variant of C&C Battle Cry. But I've changed all of the cards in the deck, all of the weapon ranges and combat strengths, movement rates, turn structure, I've removed the Left/Center/Right mechanic, added Command Radius and Initiative ratings to each general individually, and changed some of the terrain effects.
